Salzburg
Salzburg is an Austrian city situated in the centre south. This federated state is roughly 300km east of Vienna.
Salzburg’s “old town” has internationally renowned baroque architecture and one of the best-preserved city centres north of the Alps. It is the place of birth of 18th century composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart which to this day is famous for large musical festivals set amongst the breathtaking alps of Salzburg.
It is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
